Because you’re tired of waiting in long lines to change your tires after work or on your days off, and you’d rather have someone come to your location and do it for you at a lower cost.
Winter tires are specially designed tires made with softer rubber and deeper tread patterns that stay flexible in cold temperatures. They provide better grip, handling, and shorter braking distances on snow, ice, and cold, wet roads compared to all-season or summer tires.
Consectetur adipiscing eltadip isngelitseddo eusmod tempor incididunt utlabore eAccording to the rules in Ontario, installing winter tires is not legally required in Toronto. However, it’s strongly recommended to switch to winter tires once the temperature stays consistently below 7°C for about a week.
In Toronto, this usually happens between late October and mid-November.
When the temperature stays above 7 °C, usually late March to mid-April.
Yes, but not recommended.
Winter tires can be used in summer, but the soft rubber wears out quickly, braking distance is longer, and fuel consumption increases. It’s safer and more cost-effective to switch to all-season or summer tires once temps stay above 7 °C.
They give much better traction, control, and shorter stopping distances on snow, ice, and cold roads. They stay flexible below 7 °C, while all-season tires get stiff and lose grip. On snow and ice, regular tires lose their performance and cannot provide proper movement or control, which leads to a high risk of accidents and danger.
You can simply send us your car model and specifications along with a photo of your current wheels and tires by email, or enter them in the Shop section. We will prepare the right set for you and install them.
Winter tires → Softer rubber + deeper tread. Stay flexible below 7 °C. Best grip on snow, ice, and cold wet roads.
All-season tires → Harder rubber. Work in mild conditions but lose grip in cold weather. Not designed for heavy snow or ice.
Winter tires = safety in winter.
All-season tires = convenience for spring, summer, fall.
